Hi, I’m Anca – nice to meet you!

With a background in journalism, I create content for creators & brands, shape strategic messaging, and build brand strategies that make every story connect with the right audience. My portfolio primarily features HR Tech, MarTech, and SaaS companies including YAROOMS, MarineTraffic, Termly, IMA Group, Toggl, Priority Pass, 123 Form Builder, and MarkUp.io. I’ve also partnered with marketing agencies such as Creativcy, Minuttia, THINKINK, and Stile di Bologna.

Beyond client work, I’ve self-published two fiction books and write a newsletter about creative work at ancaffeinated.substack.com. You can connect with me on LinkedIn or Instagram, or email me – I’m always happy to hear about a new project. ☕️

She can whip up creativity in the dullest of topics and do it with such elegance that it makes you wonder if she’s even human or some sort of linguistic demi-goddess. She’s also kind, funny, committed, and she truly understands the value of what she has to offer to a company, as well as the value of inbound marketing, well-chosen words, and good directions coming together for a smooth result. Mindscapes reviews:

“This is a fantastic collection of short pieces, both in the sense this word has become to mean and in its real meaning. I think that Mindscapes is about writing, love, getting to know yourself, beliefs and probably other things too. Anca describes her fiction as “slightly surreal; introspective”. It’s certainly that but more: any would-be so-called ‘creative writer’ should read it. I’ve been dipping into it each day since it arrived, one mindscape a day. I wouldn’t recommend more; each is worthy of at least a day to assimilate and begin, perhaps, to understand. One dip is not enough and I’m happy to have it on my bookshelf to dip into again and again.”

“I must admit that this has been one of those books that helped me relive some of my own memories from those youthful agitated years. There are a few places where you have no choice but to ask yourself, reality, fiction, reality inspired fiction. While the book effort can be easily transposed into hours of work, the inspiration, temptation to travel back into those corners of the author’s mind to scrape the walls of imagination for more is, in fact, my expectation now.”

“The book arrived to me yesterday, sometime in the afternoon and I started reading it slowly, with small breaks between the pages. The reading session continued for a long time during the day light that and it didn’t stop at midnight, it didn’t stop until late in the morning today. As soon as I woke up, made a cup of coffee and page by page, phrase by phrase, thought by thought I continued until there were none left to read and to imagine. I did enjoy it and I might read it again sometime, just to get, maybe, a few more details out of it. I am a curious person, I enjoy reading and to put it better: to feel ‘and see what it’s like to be inside a beautiful mind’.”

Hi, I’m Anca

I’m a writer with an NCTJ-accredited BA (Hons) in Journalism & Media Studies and an MA in Marketing from the University of Portsmouth 🇬🇧

I’ve worked in editorial and marketing roles across tech, travel, and trade & academic publishing, self-published two books, and moved countries twice since I started writing here *waves from Italy*

This blog has been my digital home since my uni days, witnessing my evolution from short stories of all kinds (see Fiction!) to a solid copywriting and content writing portfolio I couldn’t be more proud of.

These days, you’ll mainly find me on Substack, where I write Ancaffeinated – a newsletter about my life with tight deadlines and a clingy sausage dog who follows me everywhere.

Feel free to connect with me anywhere, though, I love hearing from you. Welcome to my playground! 📚✨
